I’ve mentioned the advantages of some the newer office products in various posts. To be sure modern office supplies are greatly improved and contribute to office efficiency over their “parents.” However, there is certainly something to be said for the older more vintage products that if for nothing else remind us of a bygone era when common work tasks required what we would now consider more difficult tools to complete. Just looking at an old typewriter makes me wonder how these office workers of yesteryear ever did what they did. And yet these were the every tools that allowed commerce to hum. Business may have moved slower but it moved nonetheless. As for today, some of the older products just look cool mainly because of the materials used and that feeling of nostalgia they offer.
